Dr Alberto Varone

Dr Alberto Varone worked at the IASS as a senior scientist from February 2011 to December 2015.
 His research focuses on energy and environmental questions from a theoretical and a practical perspective. He headed the “Recovery of CO₂ for the production of methanol” research programme, which aims to produce technical and economic assessments of technologies used in the production of sustainable fuels from renewable energies and captured CO2.
