Grace Mbungu

Grace Mbungu joined the IASS as a Fellow and a Ph.D. candidate in May 2016. Her research focuses on the social dynamics of energy transitions. Her doctoral research focuses on identifying and contextualizing the factors that hinder or support the adoption and sustainable use of clean, safe, efficient, and affordable cooking technologies and fuels in Kenya. At the IASS, she supports the energy team as well as the KLASICA Alliance. Before joining the IASS, Grace worked as a junior researcher at DIALOGIK: Institute for Communication and Cooperation Research in Stuttgart, Germany.
