Kerstin Fritzsche joined the research project “Digitalisation and Impacts on Sustainability” as a senior research associate in January 2017. Her research focuses on the challenges and opportunities that information and communication technologies (ICTs) present to developing and newly industrialized countries and explores alternative approaches to “development” within the context of sustainable digital transformations. Prior to joining the IASS, Kerstin Fritzsche worked in the field of policy advice and development cooperation with a focus on climate change and renewable energies in North Africa and the Middle East.
