Prof. Martin Jänicke

Prof. Martin Jänicke is a senior fellow at the IASS. The political scientist has been active at the interface of science, policy advice and politics for forty years. He has held various positions, including that of planning consultant at the Federal Chancellery (1974–1976) and member of the Berlin House of Representatives. He was director of the present-day Environmental Policy Research Centre at Berlin’s Freie Universität from 1986 to 2007.
