CrossGov - Coherent and Cross-compliant Ocean Governance for Delivering the EU Green Deal for European Seas : Horizontal coherence in EU law and policy: Analysing, explaining and improving the horizontal coherence of EU policy design. Deliverable 2.2

The report presents the initial findings of T2.2 of the CrossGov project on improving coherence in marine policies within the framework of the European Green Deal (EGD). It includes a coherence analysis of the EGD’s ocean-related policies, and the findings from constitutional analysis and stakeholder interviews for explanatory factors for incoherence. The report emphasises the need for improving policy coherence to bridge the gap between EGD’s long-term vision and current policymaking.
